Childhood epilepsy-autism                    

 Case Study 1. Kenny, age 5, suffers from infantile spasms with epilepsy and hypsarrithmia (chaotic brain waves). Kenny also had high levels of mercury. Kenny has received 20 treatments in July 2001 and another 10 in October 2001. Progress report on Kenny.

 

 

 

Case Study 2. Alexis, age 8, suffers from autism and learning disabilities. Alexis received 40 treatments in August and September 2002. Alexis has improved to such an extent that she is now enrolled in a regular school.

 

 

 

 

Case Study 3. Apollo, age 5, suffers from sensory integration disorder and aphasia. 

Apollo would parrot words back to his mother without any meaning associated with them. Apollo received 40 treatments in September and October 2002. After his first few treatments Apollo amazed his mother and grandmother by speaking his first true sentence. Since then he has been able to show his affection by telling his grandmother he loves her. Apollo was the subject of a local television news broadcast.

 

Case study 4.  Sara at age 3, was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and suffered from seizures. Sara had 49 treatments in March and April 2002. By the end of treatments seizure activity had stopped and the family was looking forward to summer. In April 2003 Sara, seizure free for a year, much more talkative and able to move better, returned for a few maintenance sessions.
