Scleroderma (Vinyl Chloride Disease)

Scleroderma is a chronic hardening or sclerosis of the skin or internal connective tissue, an autoimmune disease of the connective tissue. Autoimmune diseases occur when the body's tissues are attacked by the immune system. Scleroderma is also referred to as systemic sclerosis.

Scleroderma Case Study 1: Hartmut Krieger, age 60, was diagnosed with scleroderma. He started treatments in 2001 and has since received over 60 treatments. Hartmut owned a plastic fabricating business which may have contributed to his symptoms. Since giving up the business he has received over 60 treatments withhyperbaric oxygen.
