Stroke is a disruption of blood to areas of the brain due to a thrombus (blood clot) or blood vessel rupture (aneurysm) in the brain. This can permanently damage these areas but some of the tissues may be recoverable and overall perfusion is enhanced with HBO2.

His physiotherapist recently indicated based on his improvements that he will return to 70% of normal. Glenn's wife Susan has noticed that he moves his feet better and stands better as well.
